North Star Cafe

I was pretty busy on Monday so I was only able to get two pages worth of sketches done. This time I tried to capture more personal details of my subjects, which was much easier to do for people seated at the cafe around me than those passing by on the sidewalk. It's so much harder to hit a moving target.

    These are positioned really nicely. The way they're sitting feels natural.

    Even though these are only half-figures, it feels really natural because you included indications of the table and chairs and such. Very nice.

    These are very solid. I like the looseness, yet the precision of capturing the posture of your subjects.
    Try to capture a little more, in terms of facial detail -it will really add to the wonderful character you're developing.
